Following the recent contract award by National Agricultural Advisory Services Procurement Committee to Engineering Solutions to supply 25 TAFE Tractors, 25 Disc Ploughs, 25 Disc Harrows, a Planter and Boom Sprayer, this has been well excuted and duly delivered.
The government has been on numerous occassions advocated for commercialization of agriculture practices in Uganda. To this end, alot of agricultural machinery has been procured through the different suppliers to deal with the increasing demand for more food production in the country. This massive production has boosted the livelihoods of indigenous Ugandans.
Now, more than ever, Ugandans are assured of earning a living. Predominantly, In all regions of the country, the cost of hiring a tractor ranges between 80,000-120,000 per acre. Imagine the possibility of making more when there is proper management of the farm equipment.
